FAQ

SIP calculator questions.

How is the SIP maturity value calculated?

The calculator adds each monthly contribution and applies the selected monthly rate of return. Contributions are modeled at the beginning of each month, and the result compounds through the selected duration.

What is a step-up SIP?

A step-up SIP increases the monthly contribution once each year. For example, a 10% annual step-up changes a Rs. 5,000 monthly SIP to Rs. 5,500 after the first year.

Are SIP returns guaranteed?

No. Mutual fund returns are market-linked. The calculator uses a constant assumed return only to illustrate a possible outcome.

Does this calculator include tax or fund charges?

No. The estimate does not deduct expense ratios, exit loads, capital-gains tax, or other charges that can affect the final amount.
