Can it remove complex photo backgrounds?
Yes. The AI model identifies the foreground subject instead of guessing from corner colours, so it handles scenery, shadows, and subjects touching the image edge much better. Very fine or transparent details can still vary by photo.
Will my image be uploaded?
No. Your image is processed locally in the browser. On first use, the browser downloads and caches the AI model files, but it does not send your photo for processing.
Why can the first background removal take longer?
The first run downloads the compact AI model. Later runs reuse the browser cache and the already loaded model, so they start faster.
