Salary hike calculator questions.
How do I calculate salary hike percentage?
Salary hike percentage is calculated as hike amount divided by current salary, multiplied by 100. For example, a Rs. 90,000 hike on Rs. 6,00,000 salary is a 15% hike.
Can I calculate hike using a fixed amount?
Yes. Enter your current salary, choose Amount, and enter the hike amount as either annual hike or monthly hike. The calculator will show the new annual and monthly salary.
Is this calculator for CTC or take-home salary?
You can use it for either annual CTC or monthly salary. The result is a gross estimate and does not calculate tax, PF, professional tax, or company-specific deductions.
How do I calculate monthly salary after hike?
The calculator converts the new annual salary into monthly salary by dividing it by 12. If you enter monthly salary, it first converts it to annual salary.
